What type of media should I use for my art?
I have tried oil paint, but I do not feel like I can express myself the way I really want the oil because I always have to clean the brush to get a new color and it's somewhat disturbing to me and I want to make art in a spontaneous and random, and with oil one must be patient and clean with thinner. I've never used acrylic but I know it does not require thinner. Is it better for me? Or is their way to be spontaneous with oil paint? It's like every time I had a crayon or oil pastel and I just randomly took a piece of paper and start drawing it eventually becomes something that I like. But when I have a canvas of an oil process becomes too slow and I lose inspiration and come out not as I want. I want to make spontaneous, art abstract but on the canvas ... What media can I use? Thank you!
Use Acrylic. Its quick drying, Thins with water you can work on so may surface Different .. You can put sand glass, beads, silica crushed eggs, shellfish and other many things that a brand Cheap paint is still going to give you excellent results can. Equipment is cleaned with soap and water, (never let the brush dry with paint on them) you can use a thick (impasto) and you can thin them down to produce subtle glazes as well,. The main drawback is that they dry very quickly but the retarder can be added to slow this down.
