What is the best way to fund a performing Arts?

I'm trying to get funds for an upcoming gallery show I'm preparing. I produce 26 works to hang in the gallery and curating their own exhibitions. I have coarse hash out the costs and came up with an ideal budget $ 2,600. Does anyone know of any grants or other means funds will be available? My students attend and work part time, so if I have to I can cut the show down and produce for about $ 1,000 then the fund itself, but that's all my disposable income for 6 months ahead and I do not want.

This often requires long-term planning (3 months to a year), but many non-profit gallery is accepting applications for the show. There is a juried process, but if your proposal gets accepted to indicate there will be no further cost to you. You only need to provide art in a timely and ready for display, although they may wish to discuss the arrangement with the event that you find. If not, where is cheaper. I assume that most cost is to rent the gallery space. You can probably find a free space at your university. Discuss with your art teachers, they may very encouraging. If not all art Your own, you can also charge around $ 10/piece delivery that will pay for food at the reception and maybe a few ads in the newspaper as well.
